Rolled-Edge Perimeter Fence

Rolled-Edge Perimeter Fence is a welded steel mesh panel with continuously formed rolled edges along the top and bottom. Welded wire intersections maintain the specified mesh opening, while the rolled profile forms a defined rounded panel edge.
The fence is used for industrial, commercial, public and infrastructure perimeters where controlled boundaries and open visibility are required. Panel height, width, wire diameter, mesh opening, post section and surface treatment can be specified according to the fence layout and installation requirements.

Welded Mesh Panel
Horizontal and vertical wires are welded at each intersection to form a fixed mesh pattern. The panel geometry is controlled through wire diameter, opening size and panel dimensions.
Rolled Edge
The top and bottom wire sections are continuously formed into a rounded edge. The profile runs across the panel length and remains integrated with the welded mesh structure.
Post Connection
Panels are installed with compatible steel posts and fixing components. Post section and spacing are selected according to panel dimensions and the fence layout.

Low Carbon Steel
Suitable for standard welded mesh construction where the required surface protection is specified separately.
Galvanized Steel
Zinc-coated steel wire provides corrosion protection for outdoor perimeter applications.
PVC-Coated Wire
A polymer coating can be applied over suitable steel wire when additional surface protection and a specified fence color are required.

Defined Edge Geometry
The continuous rolled profile creates a consistent rounded boundary along the upper and lower edges of the panel.
Fixed Mesh Opening
Welded intersections maintain the specified opening pattern, helping panels align consistently along a continuous fence run.
Open Sightline
The mesh structure provides visual access through the perimeter while maintaining a clearly defined physical boundary.
 

Panel Height
Select panel height according to the required boundary line, site conditions and applicable project requirements. Typical panel heights range from 0.63 m to 2.43 m.
Mesh Opening
50 × 100 mm provides a denser mesh pattern than 50 × 200 mm. The selection should reflect the required visibility and panel configuration.
Wire Diameter
Wire diameter affects panel rigidity and should be considered together with panel height, panel width, post spacing and fixing arrangement.
Post Spacing
Post spacing should correspond with the panel width and joint position. Correct spacing keeps panel connections aligned across the fence line.

Galvanized Finish
Galvanized wire is commonly selected for exposed outdoor fencing where zinc-based corrosion protection is required.
PVC-Coated Finish
PVC coating adds a polymer layer over the wire and allows the finished fence color to be specified according to the project requirement.
Coating Control
The purchase specification should state the coating type, substrate and applicable coating requirement. This provides a clear basis for production and inspection.

Wire Preparation
Wire diameter and material condition are checked against the specified production data before mesh forming.
Mesh Welding
Horizontal and vertical wires are positioned according to the required opening and welded at their intersections. Opening dimensions are checked during production.
Edge Forming
The top and bottom edges are continuously formed to the specified roll profile. Profile consistency is checked along the panel length.
Dimensional Inspection
Finished panels are checked for panel height, width, wire diameter, mesh opening and edge configuration before packing.

Panel Arrangement
Panel dimensions should be coordinated with straight sections, corners, gates, direction changes and variations in ground level.
Post System
Post section, length and spacing should be matched to the panel size and fixing arrangement.
Fixing Components
Clamps, brackets and fasteners should match the post section and panel wire diameter to maintain correct joint positioning.
