CNC Machine Guard Panels

CNC Machine Guard Panels are framed welded mesh panels used to establish a defined perimeter around CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, cutting areas and automated machining cells. The welded mesh provides visibility of the equipment while the steel frame creates a rigid panel structure. Mesh opening, wire diameter, panel dimensions, frame profile, finish and mounting details can be specified from the machine layout.

Welded Mesh Infill
Steel wires are resistance welded at each intersection to form a flat, uniform mesh surface. Opening size and wire diameter are selected according to access requirements, panel dimensions and required rigidity.
Steel Frame
The mesh is fixed within a steel frame to maintain panel geometry during handling and installation. Square tube profiles can be selected according to panel size and support spacing.
Mounting Interface
Connection points can be prepared for guard posts, brackets and adjacent panels. Hole positions and fixing details are confirmed from the installation layout before fabrication.

Machining Centers
Panels can surround machining centers and define the equipment perimeter without blocking the operator's view of the working area.
CNC Lathes
Guard sections can be arranged around turning equipment according to machine position, service access and surrounding floor space.
Automated Cells
Multiple panels can be combined into a perimeter around machining cells, loading areas and material handling zones.

20 × 50 mm
The narrower opening provides closer mesh spacing where reduced access through the panel is required.
25 × 25 mm
The square opening provides a balanced configuration for visibility, mesh rigidity and physical separation.
50 × 50 mm
The larger opening provides a more open viewing area where the guarding layout allows the required clearance.

Carbon Steel
Carbon steel is suitable for framed welded mesh panels used in general industrial production areas. Wire and frame dimensions can be selected according to the panel configuration.
Powder Coating
Powder coating provides a uniform finished surface for indoor production environments. Coating specification can be selected according to the surrounding conditions.
Galvanized Finish
Galvanized steel can be selected for areas where additional corrosion resistance is required. Finish selection should consider humidity, coolant exposure and cleaning conditions.

Machine Perimeter
Panel width should follow the machine footprint and support locations. Consistent module sizes help maintain alignment across the guarding perimeter.
Access Areas
Maintenance points, loading positions and inspection areas should be identified before panel dimensions are finalized.
Floor Layout
Panel height and support spacing should correspond with available floor space, machine position and required working clearance.

Fixed Panels
Bolted connections can be used for permanent sections. Connection positions should align with the supporting posts and adjacent panels.
Removable Sections
Removable panels can be specified for areas requiring regular machine maintenance or component access. Panel dimensions should allow practical removal and handling.
Door Integration
Swing or sliding access sections can be incorporated into the panel layout where personnel or material access is required.

Weld Inspection
Welded intersections are checked for consistent joining and secure attachment of the mesh to the frame.
Dimensional Check
Panel width, height, mesh opening, wire diameter and frame dimensions are checked against the production drawing or order specification.
Surface Inspection
Finished panels are inspected for coating coverage, visible surface defects and handling marks before packing.
Project Specification
For quotation, provide panel width and height, mesh opening, wire diameter, frame profile, surface finish, quantity and mounting details. A machine layout or drawing can be used to confirm panel joints, post positions, access sections and fixing locations before production.
